Post Name: Assistant Engineer (Civil)
No. of Posts: 03 (three)
Academic Qualifications: B.Sc. in Civil Engineering/ Civil & Environmental Engineering or equivalent degree from a reputed University.
Emolument: Selected candidates will be appointed provisionally and given regular scale of Tk.29,750-1,750-56,000 in the rank of Officer as per Bank’s rules. After successful completion of 01 (one) year provisional period, they will be confirmed in the service of the Bank with monthly gross salary of Tk.65,863/-

No. of Posts: 02 (two)
Academic Qualifications: B.Sc. in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE)/ Electrical Engineering or equivalent degree from a reputed University.
Emolument: Selected candidates will be appointed provisionally and given regular scale of Tk.29,750-1,750-56,000 in the rank of Officer as per Bank’s rules. After successful completion of 01 (one) year provisional period, they will be confirmed in the service of the Bank with monthly gross salary of Tk.65,863/-

Experience:

• Should have 03 (three) years or above practical experience in the relevant field.
• Should have practical experience in the field of Budgeting & Estimation of Electrical works, preparing of specifications for purchasing of Electrical goods, Installation & Commissioning of Lift, Generator, Sub-station equipment, Air Cooler, PABX, CCTV system & Banking Equipment are preferable for the post of Assistant Engineer (Electrical).
• Should have practical experience in the field of Budgeting & Estimation of construction & renovation works; Preparing of specifications for purchasing of construction/renovation related goods are preferable for the post of Assistant Engineer (Civil).
• Should be performed of Engineering tasks by operating computer-aided design (Auto CAD) or Engineering software is a must.

General Conditions:

• Candidates having 3rd division/ class or equivalent GPA/ CGPA in any examination are not eligible to apply.
• Only published result will be accepted. Testimonial for this matter will not be accepted. Candidates with foreign degree must have equivalence of foreign degree from University Grants Commission of Bangladesh.
• Age: Not over 32 years as on 30 November 2024. No affidavit in respect of age will be acceptable.
• Computer literacy is a must.
• Proficiency both in Bengali and English is required.
• Selected candidates shall have to serve anywhere in Bangladesh.
• Persuasion/Tadbir in any form will result in automatic rejection of the Candidature.
• Any incorrect/fake information found later, will cancel the candidature.
• All applications will be treated on merit and confidentially.
• Certificates of different examinations, experience certificates or any related certificates submitted by the candidates to the Bank will be verified from the respective institutions and any discrepancy found in the documents will be severely dealt with.
• Selected candidates will have to give an undertaking to the effect that she/he will serve the Bank for a minimum period of 05 (five) years.

Pubali Bank PLC Brief introduction : The Bank was initially emerged in the Banking scenario of the then East Pakistan as Eastern Mercantile Bank Limited at the initiative of some Bangalee entrepreneurs in the year 1959 under Bank Companies Act 1913 for providing credit to the Bangalee entrepreneurs who had limited access to the credit in those days from other financial institutions. After independence of Bangladesh in 1972 this Bank was nationalized as per policy of the Government and renamed as Pubali Bank. Subsequently due to changed circumstances this Bank was denationalized in the year 1983 as a private bank and renamed as Pubali Bank PLC. Since inception this Bank has been playing a vital role in socio-economic, industrial and agricultural development as well as in the overall economic development of the country through savings mobilization and investment of funds.
